Partners
Partnering with The Commons at Morris Farm is all about collaboration, community, and shared values. We bring together local farms, makers, and individuals who share a deep love for purposeful work and authentic connection.
By joining forces with The Commons, partners become part of a supportive local ecosystem dedicated to celebrating regional craftsmanship, sustainable farming, and community engagement.
We are grateful for the support from former Morris Farm Trust volunteers and board members who have been generous with their advice and well wishes.
Our Vision for Community Connection:
Championing Local Agriculture: Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our local farmers by expanding their reach—opening doors to new markets, creating a vibrant physical and digital farmstand, and ensuring Maine-grown goods thrive.
Cultivating Food Sovereignty: Actively dismantling food insecurity in our neighborhood. We are committed to sustaining the Share Shed, providing dignified, free food access in lockstep with local non-profits and donors, and driving sustainable food cycles through "The Loop."
Stewardship of Our Forever Farm: Honoring the soil beneath our feet by safeguarding this historic land for generations to come, managed hand-in-hand with the local farming partners who know it best.
An Open Gate for All: Ensuring this farm remains a shared asset for connection, recreation, and lifelong learning—built entirely through open, collaborative partnerships with our community.

Opportunities for Educators and Creators
We believe the true value of a resource is found in how it is shared. The Commons is designed to be a living canvas—a place where educators, creators, and program developers can plug into our land and infrastructure to bring their visions to life. We are actively looking for like-minded partners who want to collaborate, innovate, and build rooted educational programming using the shared resources of Morris Farm. If you’re ready to teach, inspire, and grow the next generation, we’ve got a seat at the table for you.
