We are beyond excited to welcome you back to The Commons at Morris Farm! On Saturday, July 11, we officially reopened our farm stand doors at 156 Gardiner Road in Wiscasset—marking a major milestone in our mission to preserve this beloved 48-acre property as a Forever Farm and a vibrant hub for our community.
A Family Vision for Generations to Come
Our story took a new turn when Chris and Terry Baldwin purchased the farm through Maine Farmland Trust’s Buy/Protect/Sell program. Longtime Brunswick residents and UMaine grads, Chris and Terry bring a wealth of expertise—Chris in environmental engineering and soil conservation, and Terry in operations and nonprofit leadership.
Alongside their daughter Lindsay and son-in-law Ryan Esbjerg, our family isn't just looking at the next season; we have a 100-year plan to steward this land for generations to come.
Powered by a Modern "Economic Engine"
Running a farm takes grit, passion, and financial sustainability. To keep the lights on and the fields healthy year-round, Ryan and Lindsay bring their e-commerce livestream business, RNZY LLC, into the fold.
By leveraging their online platform to reach over 160,000 followers, RNZY acts as an economic engine for the property. This unique model gives our farm the stability it needs to thrive without relying solely on seasonal farm stand revenue.

Our goal is to expand the stand to carry 80 to 100 Maine-made products, connecting local food producers directly to you.
Revitalizing the Community & Share Shed
Morris Farm has always held a special place in Wiscasset—from summer camps and weddings to community gardens. As we settle in, our focus is on listening and connecting with all of you to see how our commercial kitchen, event space, and pastures can best serve the community.
The Share Shed "Loop" Program
Community care remains at our core. Through a new initiative on our livestream platform, online buyers can contribute a $40 "loop" to fund local food purchases. We use these funds to buy fresh meat, dairy, eggs, and produce at fair prices from Maine farmers and keep our on-site Share Shed continuously stocked for neighbors in need.
What’s Next?
We are exploring microgreens, mushroom cultivation, and laying hens on the farm, alongside welcoming local livestock back to graze our fields.
